Time is something that nowadays everyone says that they don’t have enough. No time for chilling out with friends, not enough time for submitting projects, not enough time for family members, no time for this, no time for that!!!! I guess all of us, you & me, often use phrases like “Sorry, I don’t have time, or else I would have…….” or maybe “My life’s so busy, I don’t even have time for myself”…. all of us are cribbing about our life….& Mr.Time is nicely smiling & laughing at our plight!!
I am NOT here to discuss time- management. There are many professionals out there to discuss & teach it. I am writing this because I suddenly realised that even if we are not aware of this most of our life, almost all our decisions are based on whether we have time or not. Our schedules, our meetings, our various special “dates”, our daily-soaps,our lectures, the office hours, etc etc everything under the sun depends on this 4 letter word called “time”
Time influences us more than we ever have realised. We are more closer to the people we spend more “time” with…..because we learn, share, experience things together with them.
Time allows people to grow together & creates some unforgettable moments which we cherish lifelong
Afterall special memories are nothing but moments of “time” shared together. Do we spend time with only special people, or do people become special after we have spent “time” with them?????
I think the latter holds true on most accounts…..although if we dont “have” time then how can we “spend” it with someone??….confusing isn’t it???
YET, the same “time” can create havoc in our life if we give it too much priority in our life. People nowadays have become machines by mechanically doing work after work, chore after chore, task after task, thinking that there is so much to do in such a short time. Yes, I agree that 24 hours a day are too less when a person has to go to work, manage family, travel, catch-up with friends. Life is too short agreed…& time flies very quicky…
But because life is too short, isn’t it better to slow down a bit, look after yourself & most importantly smile & live every moment “fully”???? Rushing through life & becoming a puppet of time by constantly being tensed about what to do next takes that “tadka” or “magic” out of life of course, spending our time wisely & fruitfully is important, no doubt about that, or else we may become goaless, unfocused & lazy beings, but instead of running behind the goal like a madman, just because of lack of time, isn’t it better to slow down & enjoy the road to our goal???
Just like a train halts at stations, do take halts in the train of life, enjoy this moment, take a breath of fresh air, close your eyes, & just let the wind blow across your smiling face. “Time” will always remain a powerful mystery governing our lives. So simply forget about it, just live this moment, this hour, this, minute, this second fully because who knows if tomorrow will come or not???
So Dream. Imagine. Be Crazy. Be You!
